Seven people run IHE today.

Together they lead the institute, its programs, and its missions, including the July 2026 mission to Caracas and La Guaira. Two independent oversight bodies are being formed around them.

Two oversight bodies, still being formed.

Our governance places both above the founder and the team. Neither has named members yet; we will list them here as they are appointed.

  • Scientific Advisory Board

    Being formed

    Six to ten researchers from fields such as cognitive science, behavioral psychology, relationship science, public health, and ethics. The board will review IHE's research agenda and publications every quarter and publish an annual review letter.

  • Independent Ethics Committee

    Being formed

    Three to five members, including an ethicist, a clinician, and a community representative. The committee will review every protocol and program before and after launch, and will have the authority to halt any program that breaks ethical standards.
